The Salute to Survivors Luncheon salutes breast cancer survivors as we all celebrate life together. Whether recently diagnosed or a 30 year survivor it is an uplifting and beautiful event where all survivors are recognized. ABOUT THE FOUNDATION
Susan G. Komen for the Cure® was established in 1982 by Nancy Brinker to honor the memory of her sister Susan G. Komen, who died of breast cancer at the age of 36. The mission of the organization is to eradicate breast cancer as a life threatening disease by advancing research, education, screening and treatment. Today, Susan G. Komen for the Cure® is an international network of more than 75,000 volunteers working through local affiliates. |
